Fides Caritas

Throughout Latin America & the Caribbean there are over 200 million people living below the poverty line. Surviving in abject conditions with no access to basic necessities, education or work.

At Fides Caritas we have a dedicated group of professionals, missionaries, & volunteers who with great enthusiasm have joined together working in three areas of human development.

• Educational projects, workshops & manual training opportunities.

• Distribution of food, clothing & medicines to those in need.

• Micro-loan programmes for family development in rural & suburban areas.

Fides Caritas is present in many fields & institutions, working with orphanages, juvenile halls, hospitals & natural disaster victims.

As an ecumenical Christian organisation, we believe that imparting spiritual values, independent of church or religious background, is a must in today's society.

Fides Caritas actively promotes inter-denominational dialogue & projects as a means to achieving greater understanding of the Divine, humanity, religious tolerance, cooperation & acceptance.
